HPD: Savvy car-repair grifters are targeting the elderly

Sometimes posing as a family and toting a child, a group of traveling con artists have swindled two elderly Houston women out of thousands of dollars by claiming the victims' cars needed repair and then pressuring them to make large payments or stealing their jewels.
